Justin Goodstein-Aue [ bfa, m.s. ] is an American-German artist, photographer, and arts administrator with expertise in digital and curatorial practices. He spent his formative artistic years in Provincetown, Massachusetts alongside mentor Christopher Busa, founder of Provincetown Arts Magazine and son of peter Busa, a pioneer of Indian Space Painting: an abstract movement that emerged in the 1940s and early 50s. During summer months, Justin attended workshops at the fine arts work center, where he studied under notable artists such as Amy Arbus, Joel Meyerowitz, David Hilliard, Jay Critchley, Cig Harvey and others. This period fostered a profound connection with America’s oldest continuous art colony, which greatly influenced his creative path.
